So many bad decisions can be hidden behind proprietary 'black box' code bases. Open source changes that.

Having an open codebase allows us to collaborate with more talented humans around the world to improve shelf. On the long run it is much more sustainable.
Asynchronous teams
We are building serious software, however, our person:to:person collaboration is fun, kind and respectful. Open source allows for asynchronous work much more efficiently.
Larger distribution
Every action we take should contribute towards our vision of empowering people to tag and track 1 Billion assets by 2033 (or earlier!)
