Shelf offers an ever-expanding set of features, made for you to take the maximum advantage of our infrastructure. Configurable, composable, secure.
Generate unique, programmable QRÂ code tags for all your assets.
Never lose track of your assets again with our modern asset tags. Our programmable QR codes allow you to generate unique tags for each asset, making asset management a breeze.
Scan tags with our built-in QR code scanner
Lowest implementation cost. Secure scanning, regardless of the device. Works on Android, iOS, or any other operational system that has a browser. No excuses to keep a clean, up-to-date asset database with Shelf.
Last known location mapping for every asset.
Keep tabs on all your assets with our location tracking feature. You'll always know the last known location of every asset, helping you stay on top of your inventory management. Each QR code scan grabs the geo location of the request and displays it on a map.

Missing something crucial?
Request and store signatures related to assets
For certain assets, you might want to collect usage signatures. This can be for specialized tools, equipment or even expensive camera gear. You can (at the moment of giving custody) request for a signature to be requested.
Create your own asset tags & stick them onto anything
You can use asset tags for anything you want to track. Be it data center equipment, camera recording gear, a book collection, inventory, marketing materials. Track what matters to you.

Can Shelf help with Compliance for ISO 27001?
ISO 27001 is the international standard for information security management systems (ISMS). While it does not specifically require a company to maintain an asset registry for laptops, monitors, keyboards, and other hardware assets, it does require the identification of assets that are important for the organization's information security and the protection of those assets.
Clause 8.1.1 of ISO 27001 states that an organization should identify the assets that need to be protected, taking into account their value, importance to the business, and sensitivity to compromise.
This identification can be done through a formal asset inventory or registry, which would include information such as the asset's unique identifier, owner, location, and other relevant details.
Therefore, while ISO 27001 does not explicitly require an asset registry for hardware assets, it does require the identification of assets important for information security, and maintaining an asset registry like Shelf can be a useful tool for achieving this goal.
