What is your pricing?
Our pricing is based on whether you use shelf as a professional or as a hobbyist. A 'serious' hobbyist can use shelf plus and get more powerful features. A company or team can jump on a team plan and get all the features of shelf which also include team features.
How is an asset defined?
An asset is an open concept we have - some firms have their internal definition of an asset - for us an asset is any item that you have added to your asset database / repository which has a QR code. We see that firms are using Shelf to manage digital assets (licenses, software, etc) - which do not require the use of the QR code. We are planning to create features to manage this as well.
What does the free plan include?
The free plan is intended for personal asset management. We will bundle all features that are for personal use on the free plan - without any time limit.
Do you charge for team seats?
Only on Team with SSO (Add-on) and Enterprise agreements. The rest all have a flat price per month without any variables.
Do you charge per asset tracked?
We are on a mission to track 1 Billion assets. To limit our users per assets would go against our goal. We rather find other ways to monetize the value created by our application (such as selling asset labels) or premium features instead of limiting the size of an asset database.
Will you help us switch to Shelf?
We will. We're happy to assist you in moving over your asset inventory to our platform. In an ideal scenario we can help migrate everything - if it is not possible we can assist with a plan.
